Gothicism in Istria (package tour)

We invite you to get acquainted with the gothic attractions of rural Istria, to actively participate in the fresco-painting workshop (for beginners) in Roč. Mullioned windows, three-light windows, cemetery churches, the castles of Pazin and impressive palaces of Poreč and Bale, socializing with others and traditional Istrian food fused with renown local wines, all of this at your disposal in only three days:

(Start) Meeting in Pazin (individual arrivals or group arrivals) from 10:30 hrs. onwards. Visit to the Pazin Kaštel museum and the Church of St. Nicholas. Departure for Višnjan and accommodation at Villa Višnjan. Free time. Organized departure for the tour of gothic culture of Poreč and the Euphrasian Basilica. Return to Višnjan, wine tasting at the wine cellar Pulin and joint Istrian dinner at the local tavern. Overnight stay.

(2.day) Breakfast. After breakfast, organized departure for Roč to the fresco-painting workshop. Guided visit to Roč and lunch at the tavern in Roč. Continuing through the beautiful landscape of the valley of the Mirna river to Hum – the world's smallest town, where the traditional Istrian brandy Biska is manufactured. Visit to the gothic frescos. Continuation of the journey to Buzet. Stroll around the historic Buzet and organized dinner at the farmhouse. Overnight stay at Villa Višnjan in the historic core of Višnjan.

(3.day) Breakfast. Organized departure for the visit to Bale and Vodnjan. Visit to the famous mummies. Organized lunch. Organized visit to the oil mill and tasting of extra virgin olive oil. Return to Višnjan and parting with the participants after 18:30 hrs..

THE PRICE INCLUDES: accommodation in the historical Istrian villa 3* in four-bed apartments, (shower/WC, air-condition, TV, WLAN), on the basis of two overnight stays with breakfast, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, fresco-painting workshop, visit to the wine cellar with wine tasting, sightseeing according to schedule, tickets for the church museum, tour guide, local guide, travel organisation.
